Andy is the RYA's Southern Regional Rules advisor and is able to offer rules talks to clubs and classes in the south of further afield remotely. These talks are interactive and offer something for everyone from grass roots to olympic sailors.

If your club is considering implementing arbitration, Andy can walk you through the process and get you and your volunteers up to speed.

Andy has a background in the 'technical' side of the sport in 'measurement' and writing class rules. If your class is looking to refine its governance, class rules or enforcement methods for the 'techy' stuff, Andy can help.

Andy has a variety of experience in writing event documents including Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions and Constitutions and can help your large events or classes get on their feed.

Andy has over a decade of experience in judging and umpiring and is a qualified World Sailing International Umpire available to officiate at events.

As well as giving rules advice to individual teams or competitors, Andy is able to submit appeals on your behalf to the RYA against protest committee decisions.
